They come in two main types:

RO Pre/Post-Filters: Every 6–12 months

RO Membrane: Every 2–3 years

UV Lamp: Replace annually (every 12 months), even if it still lights up

UV Quartz Sleeve: Clean every 12 months; replace if stained or cracked


We typically recommend a UV system for well water to kill bacteria and viruses. If you also want to improve taste, odour, or remove tannins and iron, a full treatment plan may include sediment filters, carbon, softeners, or RO.
